Read the book front to back at once. It is interesting because it is not written "correctly," as far as editing goes, (intentionally,) but it is imperfectly perfect and couldn't be a smoother read. It's really cool that the author chose to do that.
Definitely
a must read for hip hop. Even separate from all the scandal in the book, It paints a vivid picture of what it was like to be a young kid growing up in the Bronx in the "golden era."

5.0 out of 5 stars we've always had a very nice, cordial relationship with one another

After reading this book, all I could do is sit back and say, "Wow". I received the book on a Monday. By that Thursday, I had finished reading it. Not only because it was your quintessential "page turner", but also because I wanted to see if there was going to be an ultimate confession. I'll explain. I grew up with Ronald Leroy Savage, Jr.pka (previously known as) "Bee Stinger" in Castle Hill. While we were not the typical 'friends' who hung out with each other every single day (I was a bit older), we've always had a very nice, cordial relationship with one another. I was heavily into the hip hop scene of the 70's, early 80's, that Ronald vividly describes in his book. So - as I read the book - I noticed that Ronald had used a pseudonym for his abuser. Let me tell you, anybody who grew up in that era would know EXACTLY whom Ronald was referring to; even a blind man would have said, "I see". I wanted to see if Ronald would, indeed, reveal this person's real name. He did. I was very proud of this fact. Before any kind of true healing process could take place, Ronald would have had to face this straight-on. Ronald came through like a champ. Can I say that I can relate to what Ronald went through? No. Can I say to Ronald, "Hey Man, I understand, but .." Again, no. What I can say to Ronald is this: "Now that I know your story, I will proceed accordingly." I'm not going to judge
Ronald, or treat him any differently than I do now. Why? Because Ronald did nothing wrong. I repeat, Ronald did NOTHING WRONG. The best conclusion would be for Ronald's abuser to publicly confess/apologize to him for his actions. I say the chances of that confession happening are slim to none. No worries. While this individual may never stand before a judge and jury here on this Earth, one day he WILL stand before the ULTIMATE JUDGE and JUROR - GOD; ALLAH; JEHOVAH; YAHWEH; etc. He will not be able to hide then. God Bless You, Ronald Leroy Savage, Jr. pka "Bee Stinger". Peace.

IMPULSE, URGES AND FANTASIES: Life Is A Bag Of Mixed Emotions Title in Revision 9782893635507 ( Book Revision Reviews Not On The Online Stores So We Place Them Here

I am glad I took a stand, I have been holding this in since I was a young teen, many people need to come to terms with the fact that I was a young kid facing my accuser who was and is very powerful. You try being in my shoes dealing with this by yourself when his people come to your house on a weekly basis. People allegedly protect my accuser to allegedly hide the truth by quickly calling me a liar after I was allegedly offered money to stay quiet because my accuser wants this to go away. My question is I hear others are now coming forth as well, I guess they are liars as well, No! We are victims allegedly at the hands of our accuser. Then they want to claim my entire book "Impulse, Urges, and Fantasies" is all about my accuser, (Shaking my head) just another way to allegedly pull people away from the cries of a child victim.
